ALS, 1800 April 30 : Mill Hill [London], to Samuel Sitgreaves.

Written while King was U.S. Minister to Great Britain, he mentions news received from Boston commenting on the choice of Jefferson to run for President: "it is satisfactory in respect to the choice of President as it manifests a stronger opposition to Mr. Adams among his friends than we believed to exist ..." He also mentions Oliver Ellsworth and Samuel Pinckney.
